Project Design
The interactive tool below is a slider bar separating the Full Build roadway on the left from the Phase 1 roadway on the right. Move the bar left and right to see the differences.
The project includes a Diverging Diamond Interchange (DDI) for LA 415 at I-10. Similar interchanges in Louisiana exist at Pecue Ln. and I-10 in East Baton Rouge Parish, and for Loyola Dr. at I-10 serving the New Orleans International airport.

A Single Point Urban Interchange (SPUI) is the design for the intersection of the LA 415 Connector at LA 1. The Connector must pass over the railroad line flanking the west side of LA 1. Ramps shown in red alongside LA 1 provide access to and from the Connector.

Open House Exhibits
The gallery below contains images of the engineer's exhibits displayed at the September 8, 2026 Open House event held at the West Baton Rouge Conference Center in Port Allen, Louisiana. A key purpose of this event was to obtain input on the design changes which have occurred since the 2022 NEPA reevaluation process. These changes are now progressing through their own reevaluation process by DOTD and FHWA to ensure the project meets the intent of the Environmental Assessment document completed in 2007. Full resolution PDF versions of these exhibits may be downloaded using the links below the image gallery. Viewing PDF files requires the use of Adobe Acrobat or similar PDF viewer software on your device.
Provided below are links to full-resolution PDF versions of the above pictured exhibits. Those named "roll" are very large engineer's roll-plots of the project plans.
